Why can't I reconnect my Facebook page or group?

If you are having trouble reconnecting your Facebook page or group, you may encounter a couple of errors that are of concern.

You may see the error "We were unable to match any accounts from the list returned by the service to your connected socials. You may be logged into the incorrect service account." or the error "We were unable to match the selected social from the list returned by the service. You may be logged into the incorrect service account."

The first error indicates that we were unable to locate any of the Facebook pages or groups on your account within the credentials that we located. This error indicates that the Facebook profile that was used to establish the connection is not the same Facebook profile that is currently logged in to try to reconnect the group or page.

The second error indicates that we were able to locate some of your currently connected Facebook pages or groups within the profile credentials that were provided. However, the account that you are currently trying to reconnect was not found within your credential.

Both of these errors have the same remedy.

1) Log out of the Facebook profile that is currently logged in on your browser and log into the correct Facebook profile.

2) Delete the Social and re-add it with the correct profile. The Social can be deleted by navigating to your Socials tab, clicking on the Facebook page or group, and clicking on Delete.
